Siding prefinished in a controlled factory environment arrives at the job site with a more uniform, durable finish than anything applied in the field. Weather conditions, surface contamination, and inconsistent application all degrade field-applied coatings. Factory prefinishing eliminates these variables.
Engineered Wood & Fiber Cement
We prefinish LP SmartSide, engineered wood siding, and fiber cement products including HardiePlank profiles. Our exterior-grade coating systems are formulated for long-term UV and moisture resistance, with primer and topcoat applied to manufacturer specifications.
Exterior-Grade Coating Systems
All siding finishes are selected for exterior durability. Typically water-based acrylic systems flex with the substrate through seasonal temperature changes without cracking or peeling. We apply even coverage to faces, edges, and backs where specified to reduce moisture intrusion.
Job Site Advantages
Prefinished siding installs faster, produces less on-site waste, and eliminates the need for a separate painting crew. For new construction projects, prefinished siding compresses the exterior schedule and allows interior work to proceed without waiting for coatings to cure.
