Built for Production

Woodco Prefinishing operates out of a dedicated production facility in Blaine, Minnesota, just north of the Twin Cities in Anoka County. The facility is purpose-built for high-volume factory prefinishing of doors, millwork, siding, paneling, and stair parts.

Our finishing lines include UV-curable clear-coat and paint systems that cure in seconds and water-based spray lines for low-VOC, LEED-compliant applications. Every coating system is enclosed and climate-controlled for consistent adhesion, color, and sheen.

The facility features automated conveyor systems that move product from sanding through coating and drying with minimal handling. This reduces surface contamination, lowers rework rates, and maintains the piece-to-piece consistency that our clients depend on.

All coatings used at Woodco meet or exceed LEED compliance requirements. Our UV-curable finishes produce near-zero VOC emissions, and our water-based systems are formulated for low environmental impact. We provide documentation to support our clients' green building certifications.

Flatbed Door Sander

Flatbed sanding system for precision surface preparation of door faces prior to coating.

Color Standards & Sample Library

Every job is matched against our in-house stain standards and a full-wall sample library. The same boards your sample kit is pulled from are the boards we color-match production against.

Twelve labeled Woodco stain standards including Pewter, Traditional Walnut, Golden Wheat, White Wash, Cedar, English Chestnut, Blue Stain, Light Pecan, Dark Sky, Smoke, Cherry, and Reed's Gray — Stocked stain standards — pulled for every color-match.
