Primed Colonist Doors

Process for painting Primed Colonists doors.

  1. Pre-sand face (including panel recesses) and edges with automated door sander.
  2. Apply one coat of Acrylic Urethane basecoat.
  3. After based coat has cured, one coat of Acrylic Urethane Topcoat is applied.
  4. After full cure and quality control, the door is then individually stretch wrapped through automated ring wrapper and palletized.
  5. Nail hole putty is now available to match Woodco's standard colors.

Exterior Metal Doors

Process for painting Exterior metal doors.

  1. Pre-sand face (including panel recesses) and edges with automated door sander.
  2. Apply one coat of Acrylic Urethane basecoat.
  3. After based coat has cured, one coat of Acrylic Urethane Topcoat is applied.
  4. After full cure and quality control, the door is then individually stretch wrapped through automated ring wrapper and palletized.
  5. Nail hole putty is now available to match Woodco's standard colors.

Prefinishing flush doors and 6-panel doors

Process for finishing Flushand 6-Panel Doors.

  1. Pre-sand face (including panel recesses) and edges with automated door sander.
  2. If door is to be stained, a spray wiped stain is applied.
  3. An acrylic Urethane Sealer is then applied.
  4. After curing door, it is then sanded and cleaned through our automated sander. If door is 6-panel, it will be sealed and sanded twice prior to finish coat.
  5. After thorough sanding and cleaning of the door, the door then receives one coat of Acrylic Urethane Topcoat.
  6. After full cure and quality control of the door, the door is then stretch wrapped with a special slip through stretch wrap and palletized.
